The Federal Aviation Administration approved the Rocky Mountain Metropolitan Airport (Airport) Part 150 Study Forecast in December 2025 (December Forecast). The December Forecast utilized a linear regression model with Per Capital Personal Income as the primary explanatory variable to predict operations for 2025-2031. This Part 150 Study uses 2026 as the current year and 2031 as the future year.

The Airport experienced an unexpected decline in aircraft operations in 2025, which was not reflected in the December Forecast. This decline was due to factors outside of the Airport's control and is expected to be temporary. Operations are expected to increase each year for the next two years until reaching levels consistent with the December Forecast.

For these reasons, this Part 150 Study will use the actual operation totals from May 1, 2026 to April 30, 2026 for the current year (2026) and the forecasted operation totals from the December forecast for the future year (2031). A revised Operations Forecast and Noise Exposure Map Data Input Memo will be placed on the website once approved by the FAA.
